About Angie
Anyone who speaks with Angie knows immediately that this woman believes in getting to the bottom line when it comes to living a happy and fulfilling life. Angie has faced many opportunities that tested her own overall happiness and at various points along the way, she found herself in unhappy personal or professional situations. She knew it was up to her to continue to live a life unfulfilled and unhappy or take a leap of faith to do something different, she decided to break away and take charge of her own life. Angie believes that no matter how bad some circumstances are, you can always find your way back to happiness and become stronger along the way.
Angie became a student of self-improvement and positive mental attitude thinking in the late 1980’s, when she began to study everything she could get her hands on that had to do with positive thinking, self-awareness and self-improvement. Angie was able to use what she learned from authors like Norman Vincent Peale, Dale Carnegie, and Leo F. Buscaglia, to not only get her through the tough times, but also remain positive and at a higher level of happiness than most of those around her. This helped her become a trusted confidant that others could come to for motivation and direction.
Angie received her business degree from Texas A&M, and has a professional background of 20+ years of leadership, management and corporate training. She is a member of the eWomenNetwork and the Association for Training and Development. She enjoys writing and currently writes for her own blogs on health and happiness, is an Expert Author for Ezine Articles and is a co-host on the weekly Happy Wednesday Broadcast. She is also the creator of a successful online social community, TheWorldNeedsMoreHappy.com that reaches visitors from across the US and over 60 countries.
Angie’s husband is an entrepreneur and has a successful business, 360 Wraps, in Dallas/Fort Worth, where they live. They have one daughter who is a senior in college working towards her degree in Business Entrepreneurship. They have a house full of animals with four dogs, four cats, and an aquatic turtle. Angie says the animals keep them busy and fill their home with activity and love.
