This last year has been one of a deep transformational journey, and I have learned a lot about myself. One of the most significant reality checks I had was to discover that for most of my life, I have struggled with feeling like I was “not good enough.” When I did succeed, I either felt like I could have done more, or better, or that I didn’t deserve any recognition at all. I felt unworthy. Isn’t that sad?
Here I was, busting my butt to do the best I could at everything, and yet I never felt satisfied with my accomplishments or worthy of my success. And you know what? I’m not alone! You may not have this exact same thing knawing at you, but I bet you know someone close to you who does. After I discovered this about myself, I started sharing my revelation with my friends. Some of them recognized that they also have some of the same tendencies holding them back.
I learned the I am Good Enough and I am Worthy
In reality, we are all good enough, and we are all worthy of everything we could ever want. Overcoming this is actually quite simple. Almost too simple, and yet we make it so dang complicated. I could go into a long, elaborate explanation about how we measure our results against a fictitious standard, which sets ourselves up for impending failure, but all of that doesn’t matter. The truth is that inherently, we are are good enough. While you are sitting there reading my story, you are good enough. In fact, you are great! You are also worthy of anything and everything you desire. No judgment. No question. Without limitation. You are worthy, period!
Your worth is not a number on the bathroom scale or on a piece of clothing. It’s not the number on a paycheck or what’s in your bank account. Measure your worth by the feeling you get by the work you are doing and the joy you bring to others. The positive impact you are making on the world and how that makes you feel is a far better measure of your worth than anything else I can think of. The standard of your character is the highest measure of all. Always remember, you are good enough, and you are worthy. I am too!
The positive impact you are making on the world and how that makes you feel is a far better measure of your worth than anything else I can think of.

Read a little bit more about me here. There’s so much more, but this is a good start.
